At Equatorial Exotica, we are constantly experimenting with new growing mediums and mini amazon-like environments to grow new plants.
What started as a small collection has since shifted into a community of incredibly knowledgeable and passionate plant enthusiasts that have helped us build our shop with unique, hard to find tropicals that we now want to share with you.

Each plant in our shop comes from a carefully curated ‘mother’ plant that has been grown in optimal conditions. All of our cuttings are grown in volcanic soil (fluval stratum) and are stored in humidity-controlled environments to ensure that they have the best chances of growing strong and healthy. This also allows them to adapt better to other environments as they grow.
